Thomas "Tommy" Armitt (birth registered April→June 1904 — July→September 1965 (aged 70)) birth registered in Salford, Lancashire, was an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1930s and '40s, playing at representative level for Great Britain, and England, and at club level for Swinton, and Hull, as a , i.e. number 9, during the era of contested scrums, his death was registered in Manchester district.
